Browser Multiplayer: What to Check Before Inviting a Friend
UA Games Team · Published · Updated
A game page link is useful for sharing a title, but it does not prove that the game offers online multiplayer. Check the provider's menu and instructions before planning a session with a friend.
Identify the play mode
Look for a clear choice between local play, online rooms and computer opponents. A game with more than one character or a competitive theme may still be single-player.
Check how someone joins
If the game provides room codes or invitations, follow its instructions. UA Games Zone's Share game button shares the page URL; it does not make a room, invite a player into a match or synchronize progress.
Use the catalog to start exploring
The catalog contains Paper.io and Wrestle Bros. These links are starting points for checking the game menus, not confirmation of a particular multiplayer mode.
Confirm device and browser inputs
Friends may be using different devices. Check whether the game documents touch, mouse or keyboard support, and test the joining flow before committing to a session.
If a frame fails to load, use the troubleshooting guide. Do not send account passwords or other sensitive information when reporting a problem.
Find your next game
Open a title to read its description and check its own instructions.
